At the beginning of August, I took my book to the 2016 Byron Bay Writers' Festival. The event was held just out of Byron Bay in the middle of a very soggy field (after days of torrential rain the preceding week), but I managed to connect with quite a few interesting people and enjoyed myself immensely.
